Cannot download EA play on windows 11?

Hello,

I received a new laptop for Xmas and am trying to transfer my Sims 4 onto it. Used the EA website to try and download it again but as I open the files to download the program it says it’s no longer accepted. I cannot find it either on the Microsoft store.

I downloaded it originally with origin and they were bought by EA so I have to use their stuff to run it without having to buy all the stuff again to run the game.

Any way to fix this?

Hi,

Note that Origin and EA app are the same thing. Origin wasn't bought by EA it's just what EA called their download software. Origin has always been EA.

All you should need to do is download the EA and log in with the same details you used on your previous device.

and as of now origin software has ended so the EA app is all you get now.

I have windows 11. Will this damage my pc?

It didn't work. I'm angry that I'm paying $10 for a service that doesn't work. The fact that I have 2 other computers (one desk top and another laptop) that run windows 10 and it won't work on them either is a failure on Microsoft's and ea's part. Back to Playstation I go!

Hi there Sam welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This might be an issue with the app itself! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! After uninstalling it try downloading it again and then try with the EA app. Here are the steps!
