Cannot download child profiles to 360

I cannot download a profile that is a "child" account of my main account. When I click "Download profile" from the sign in page and put in the correct username and password, I can select from four profiles associated with my microsoft account. The main account downloads fine, but when I download one of the child accounts it begins to download and then always stops with this error:

"Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to account.live.com to fix the problem. 80151014."

The second one never begins downloading, and gives an error with the same text but a different code: "80150016"

When I sign in online to see my Microsoft family page, I see two email address with @ xboxlivefamily com domains. There is no other info (no profile pic, nothing), so I am unsure if they represent these two child accounts or not. Either way, I did not create them manually.

Seems like it always so difficult to get a bit of nostalgia going. Thank you so much for you help!

Resetting the password will not alter the parent/child relationship nor cause any further issues.

No, those stuffs are not transferable. However, you can convert his offline Xbox 360 account to an Xbox live account and download that to the console. See here https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/account-pro...

You can try setting up a new account for your child at Xbox.com then download the profile to your Xbox 360 console. That should do it.

It could be an issue with the password. Please try to change the password on the child's account then try again. For the 360s, if your password is longer than 16 characters it will see it as a wrong password when trying to sign in.

Great idea! I haven’t mostly been attempting to sign in using the parent account, which will then give you the option to download the child profile. That is when I get the error codes.

I will reset the child password for the random xboxlivefamily email addresses I found and try to download it using those accounts. Really quick question though: Will resetting the xboxlivefamily email password alter the parent/child relationship or further break our ability to download the child account using the parent’s account’s login info?
