Cannot download any game from the Xbox Beta PC app

In this thread there is the fix:

The service shouldn't require a manual restart. It would be hard to determine if this was due to a deliberate setting you have in place, or an unintended side effect.

What I would do is open up Services.msc from the start search menu, then find the Storage Service in the list. Right click and select Properties. From there, verify the Startup Type is "Automatic" or "Automatic (Delayed Start)" (either is fine), and the
click the Recovery tab. From there, verify First and Second Failures are set to "Restart the Service", and Subsequent failures are to "Take No Action". I have mine to restart after 2 minutes, but you can vary that on your needs (2 min is pretty standard).

THEN, if the Storage Service still needs to be manually started that will tell us there is an issue with your Storage Service in that it is failing more than twice in a row. From there, you'd want to look at OS repair or storage diagnostics for potential
problems that are causing your issue.

After a windows update the problem has stopped and I don't need to it manually now. The Xbox beta problem was fixed but since the update all my Microsoft store downloads have stopped.

When I click on the download button the button disappears and the download bar is shown after which either it will show the waiting sign forever or cancel on its own and the download button reappears.

Are you resetting the Xbox (Beta) app or the game itself?

What you're describing sounds like it's more of an account issue with the Windows Store than the app itself.

I would start with resetting the Windows Store Cache by clicking Start and then type "wsreset" and run that. When the Store App opens again, see if your games and app downloads are working again.

Another thing to try would be to remove and re-add your account to the Microsoft Store. You can do that by opening the store, clicking on your account logo in the upper-right, and clicking on your account name. Click on your Account in the new pop-up and
select "Sign out". Then click on the profile icon in the top right again and click "Sign In", choosing your account name again from the pop-up. That might help.

I have tried them. They don't work for me. It is alright though I can install the Softwares like the old times (pre-Windows 10) by a .exe file.
