Cannot Download 360 Profile on XB1

I have a 1 TB Forza 6 system. The same issue a lot of people here are having. I've done all the steps people have suggested. It hangs up on the white "Getting 360 information screen" before asking to download a profile that won't download.

Yes you can. When you download your profile to xbox one it is still available on 360. In fact you can be logged in on one 360 and one XB1 at the same time

Exactly same here. Bought xbox one to play my old games now feel ripped off by Microsoft. Clearly it doesn't work gonna return my xbox one!

Sorry to hear about the profile trouble you're all experiencing. To help as get to the bottom of this, let's make sure everyone tries the following steps:

Remove your profile from the Xbox One console

Power cycle your Xbox One by holding power button for 8-10 seconds until the Xbox One powers off. Then power it back on.

Add your profile back to your Xbox One

Start the Backward Compatible game and attempt to re-download your profile (to pull up the guide press both
the menu and view button at the same time)

If after running through the above steps don't help please head over to this survey and fill it out. By following the steps and filling it out, we'll be able to provide your issue to

We are having this issue also.. the exact same thing as the OP... wont download 360 profile and says unable to connect to xbox live..

have been trying everything for weeks.,... this is an upgrade to an xb1s from a previous basic xb1... on the old xb1 it used to work fine...

its not your fault,your profile is not glitched,many many ppl myself included cannot download their tags right now,ive been waiting 3 days for bs to get fixed,error 80072efe is a xb1 error also,no idea why we all show it on our 360s,hopefully this gets fixed
