Cannot do anything in Minecraft Realm (Windows 10)

Hello, so my friend is hosting a realm with our 6 other friends. Everybody can do anything freely but whenever I join I can break blocks but I won't receive the block. I cannot chat, every time I do
it disappears like I've never typed anything in the first place. Mobs won't interact with me. My chunks do not load, the only chunks are loaded are the ones where I spawn. I first thought it was lag at first but I can see what my friends type or who dies and
that, it's real time for some reason. I tried to join my other friends server and it works perfectly fine but for some reason I can't do anything in my friend's realm.

My friend is hosting on his xbox but I'm not the only one that joins his realm with PC, my other friend can join perfectly fine but it's not working for me.

Hi, i’m here and happy to help! Since it is happening to you with one person and not another, it may be on their side, it could create a lag spike with the fact that they could be on a different device or console. If you have anymore question feel free to

I'M PLAYING ON WINDOWS 10. WHICH VERSION DO I NEED? 

You’ll need your subscription purchase to match the
version of the game you are playing. For example, if you bought Minecraft from the Windows 10 store, you'll need to buy Realms Plus for Minecraft.

Now make sure you have installed Minecraft on your PC, then go here:

and click on "Get Realms Plus" at the top-right of the page.

I have the exact same problem with Minecraft for windows 10. When trying to buy a Realms subscription, I get that exact same error. I have been able to buy anything else from the minecraft store without issue.

Hi Matt,

-Yes, it's Minecraft Windows 10.

-Everyone else can get onto the server fine, it's just me having issues.

-I am based in England and I believe the server location is europe.
