    Cannot convert PC data from XBOX?


    Hello Microsoft forums,

    Yesterday I received a ROG ASUS Windows 10 Gaming Laptop and have an xbox, on xbox I play games like astroneer and Forza Horizon 4, I have transferred astroneer (I bought it on Xbox) and can now play on PC. But when I try bring Forza over it says I have to buy it again? Please can I have some help with this.

    Notes: I am using the xbox pc app.

    The Xbox has hardware that verifies a disc’s authenticity, and it’s not written in a format a PC can read. There is no way to validate Xbox discs on a PC unfortunately. You can subscribe to gamepass, or purchase the digital version. It’s frequently on sale.

    Do you own the digital Forza 4? If your Forza on Xbox is on disc then this won't be playable for free on the PC. Only digitally purchased games will be available to download.

    The same account that owns the game on Xbox must be the same account logged into the Xbox app and also the Microsoft Store. Forza Horizon 4 is an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so it should be working.
