Cannot Contact Support: Unable to input required fields

Hello,

We need to Chat with Microsoft on a problem we have for redeeming XBOX Live Gold voucher but we are not able to do this because we are not able fill the details required.

We sign in and follow the procedure. Then on the details request page we can see our email address but we are not able to input the "First Name" and "Last Name" and so we cannot proceed further as these details are required details to be inputted.
We can go on the relative fields with the cursor but when we click on the field to start writing our details, NOTHING HAPPENS.

I tried to add a screen shot here but also this I can’t manage.

I hope someone can shed some light on this problem because we've tried everything. This is simply very frustrating!! Thanks

attempting to contact support

I have tried numerous times/browsers to fill in the fields for my first and last name to either chat with or have a call back from support. All other fields are working. Email, Description, Error code. Submit button wont work unless these required fields
have text and I am unable. I cannot enter text into those fields! They are required answers.

Customer support

When im attempting to have a conversation on chat support its asking for my first and last name in the required fields section. All of this information has been filled out in my account quite some time ago and im unable to fill in the "required field" section.
Please help, ive been trying to make contact with chat support for 2 days now. Thanks.

Try signing into http://account.live.com and verify the information on your account. If that doesn't work, you may want to try contacting phone support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada.

Hi,

It may appear that you have already changed your Gamertag once for free. You can see if you charged for the Gamertag change here:

account.microsoft.com/.../orders However, can you try to open the support link (
support.xbox.com/contact-us ) in in-private and see if it will allow you to chat with them that way without your information automatically being pre-generated.

Sorry to hear you are having issues purchasing content with your existing funds.

Are you trying to purchase on an Xbox console or PC?

If it's on the PC, try clearing your cache. You can also use a private browser or a different browser (Edge instead Chrome, or Firefox, etc).

To delete your cache from the Edge Browser:

Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the Settings and More (three dots) button on the top-right corner.
Click on Settings.
Click on Privacy and services.
Under the “Clear browsing data” section, click the Choose what to clear button.

I suggest specifically deleting "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files". Note: It will sign you out of your saved log-ins and passwords.

To delete your cache from the Chrome browser:

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More (three vertical dots)
Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.

Sign into your account and try again.

If the same error occurs, go to Contact us | Xbox Support and select Subscriptions & Billing > I need help purchasing content to request a call-back.
