    Cannot connect xbox to PC monitor


    So, I have been trying to connect my Xbox to my AOC monitor. I have an HDMI-to-VGA adapter, but my monitor still wont register it as an input! all the cables are connected properly, i have cleaned everything, and the only thing that is different is the output
    device (was a large, flat screen TV, now it is a 20" monitor) and the fact that my Xbox is on its side, but the latter should not have an impact on anything. Can anyone help me?

    How to connect PC speakers to Xbox One?

    Hi all! I use pc monitor to use my Xbox One. I have an audio output on my monitor, so I can connect my head phone to my monitor and list to sound, but I'm not able to use my PC speakers.

    So my question is "does anyone has any suggestions on how to connect pc speaker to Xbox?"

    it might be time to upgrade the pc monitor to a hdmi monitor in order to directly connect the modem with the xbox 360 and the pc together as one unit.

    2k with 120hz XBOX ONE X not working with HP X27i

    the edid contains the info the xbox uses for the monitor, the monitor has 1080p @ 120hz listed and only has 1440p @ 60hz listed so the xbox cannot use 1440p at 120.

    pc's can ignore the edid xbox cannot.

    Hi!

    The Xbox doesn't support dual monitors setup. For this case you will need a PC connected on one monitor, and Xbox on second monitor.

    I finally got round to connecting up my xbox X to my Acer Predator XB281HK 4K monitor, via HDMI. only to realise my monitor is HDMI 1.4. Xbox is HDMI 2.0. which means I cannot get 60Hz 4K. My pc is also connected to this monitor but via Display port. Which
    is fine and running at 4K. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get 4K running on my current monitor. Is it worth me getting a HDMI to display port cable and giving that a go which means I will need to buy some sort of switch, so I can go between
    PC and xbox on one display port. Or can someone suggest a good 4K gaming monitor that will be compatible with my XBOX X and PC.

    Laptop HDMI's are output only, not inputs. An Xbox console cannot be connected to a laptop HDMI. They can, however, be connected to a TV or monitor.
