    Cannot connect using wifi


    i am having trouble connecting my xbox one to my wireless network. When i go into network settings the current network status states that it has a wired connection set up and will not let me access wireless net work set up despite there being no cable plugged
    in for a wired connection at all.

    Hey mcrthnx4thvenom! If you switch the console to offline mode and then attempt to connect again are you seeing the same issue? If the same issue occurs, you may have a hardware issue which would require the console be serviced. Post back and let us know!

    I agree with Mister Cizl, the only other suggestion i would through in is a two-parter'

    1. Remember the old Nintendo days? If not it's ok, using an aerosol can and if nothing else some good old oxygen, blow into the ethernet port to ensure no dust has got in there and is confusing the system.

    2. Actually plug in an ethernet cable and take it right back out, again assuming something is in there (dust or such) this may help the Xbox realize that the port is indeed empty!

    The xbox series x/s is completely incapable of connecting to hidden wifi networks. There are various tricks/hacks people are using which may or may not work, but it is not supported natively.

    I cannot connect to hidden wifi networks. It will not find my ssid when manually entered.
