Discus and support Cannot connect towifi network after failed update a 2am in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Juwst as the title says. Dr id all of the recommended steps but no luck.     Juwst as the title says. Dr id all of the recommended steps but no luck. Now hardwired in and update successfully installed still wont.dcnp? Unplugged unit, restarted router... all of the 6 steps and more. Help?

    XBOX LIVE CONNECTION PROBLEMS

    I am having the same problem. The update began, the XBox reset itself, then I received an"update failed" message and now I cannot get onto Live. When I test my connection I receive exactly the same screen as above... network and internet are both fine,
    but I can't connect to Live. I reset my router, to no avail. I also receive a message that Kinect won't operate without the update, which I cannot obtain because I can't connect.

    basically useless. I have reset to defaults, tested connections, network statistics are soli, router connection is fine...just cannot do an update or connect to xbox live. Microsoft “support” was a nightmare to get to a human, and then got a useless cookie
    cutter link by way of an answer. There doesn’t seem to be any way to see if the console is using correct information to connect to xbox live (user, password, etc. Any Ideas before I throw this thing out?
