Cannot connect to your DHCP server

I'm having an issue getting my xbox online. I have a wired connection and every time i turn on my xbox I get the "Cannot connect to your DHCP server" message when i test the connection. Xbox support suggests I unplug my router and plug it back in, which
does work until I go to turn my xbox on again the next time and I get the same message. Is there a permanent fix to my problem? I'd rather not have to mess around with my router every time I want to use my xbox

Thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us! We suggest clearing the Network Card Cache to make sure there isn't any corruption on there causing this error to happen every time the console is shut off. To Clear the Alternate MAC Address follow these
simple steps on the console:

Settings

Network

Network settings

Advanced Settings

Clear and restart

Once that's been done try to
powercycle the console and let us know if the issue persists!

 

Unfortunately that didnt work. Still get the “Cannot connect to your DHCP server” error

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem.

If you haven't yet, I would suggest checking out the guide on our site entitled ”I get an error message when I run the ‘Test network
connection’ on Xbox One”

Now, that is usually a network problem that stems from your modem or router itself.

You can usually try to change the ethernet port you're using on the modem, or change the cable.

If that doesn't work, port forwarding your network connection is also a really good go to for a majority of network issues like this as well.
