    Cannot connect to your DHCP Server


    Hello I am having a problem connecting to my wifi with my xbox one console, it finds my network no problem but when i connect it takes ages to connect and then it gives me an error Cannot connect to your DHCP Server but if i use hardwire it works although
    i would like to use the wireless i have tryed to connect it on to 2 networks but still the same error any help please

    Unfortunately that didnt work. Still get the “Cannot connect to your DHCP server” error

    Thanks Misses Quinzel I really need help on this one and as H4RJ has the same problem I thought it might be something to do with my xbox one as one of the problem solving messages says their my be a problem with my hardware wireless card so then i started
    to panic becuase I dont really want to send it back to amazon hopefully more people have this problem then i can rest my soul Cannot connect to your DHCP Server :)

    Mine has started working again. I gave up entirely, went away for a day, and when I came back to it it worked. I didn't change anything. Seems like faulty software to me.

    Hey Christophigis!

    Thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us! We suggest clearing the Network Card Cache to make sure there isn't any corruption on there causing this error to happen every time the console is shut off. To Clear the Alternate MAC Address follow these
    simple steps on the console:

    Settings

    Network

    Network settings

    Advanced Settings

    Clear and restart

    Once that's been done try to
    powercycle     the console and let us know if the issue persists!
