When I tested connection and multiplayer connection there are no issues. There are 3 data phones, PS4 and Xbox one with wireless connection to my router. Also have two home computers wired to router. There are no issues with internet on ANY
of these devices INCLUDING the Xbox one. For some reason, however, I am unable to connect to any of the services provided by Xbox. There are no error codes. Just that the account needs to be connected to the internet (which it is). When I click on 'My Profile'
it says "That did not work. Sorry, give it another try". I have no access to streaming. I have no access to the online store. My subscription has also just been renewed, and I have recently upgraded my internet within the last couple months. Also, I am
still able to use Netflix on Xbox, but it buffers rather frequently making it difficult to watch most shows. I have not contacted my ISP, since clearly I am not having issues with internet. I did port forwarding for xbox one. The NAT type WAS open, but
now it is saying Strict (changed within last two hours).

Cannot connect to Xbox service?

I recently purchased a 3-month gold card from my local Shoppers and when I tried to redeem it I get "Sorry, we cannot connect you to Xbox service". I've been trying for a few hours now and haven't gotten anywhere. I"ve tried redeeming it on my xbox, phone,
and laptop now and it hasn't gone through at all. I tested my connection on my xbox and everything is connected perfectly and working. It says I'm online but I don't have gold, and it will not redeem the 3-month gold I just purchased. Any advice?

Hi there,

Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that the Xbox Live account, the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at
http://support.xbox.com/contact-us they can do a more indepth look into this issue.

 

Try this ....

go into settings and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while it is off ,
unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up . re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while but all SHOULD
be good afterwards ...

 

HI basically, I cannot connect to my old account which has been locked because I entered too many wrong password. The problem is I couldnt get one Proper Microsoft Technical Support to get me to reset my password. They only left me a short note that If I
continued using my console with the locked account, my console might get locked as well. So ever since last year may I havent been able to use my X-Box at all. Could I get just one person to really help me out.

 

Unfortunately, no one here in the forums will be able to assist you with account issues. You will need to work that out with support. If you are in the US or Canada you can call 800-469-9269. You will have to provide them with the correct information
