Cannot connect to Xbox Live

Hi, I have Xbox One for 5 months, and Xbox Live was working correctly. But since week I cannot connect to Xbox Live. I'm clicking on that icon on right and nothing happens. Online isn't working, I can't even save the game online (must play offline). Is anyone
know how to fix it? Sorry if I'm making grammar mistakes or something, but I'm still learning English.

MaxBox99 in order to connect to Xbox live you need an Xbox live profile, you cannot connect to Xbox live without having an valid Xbox live account.

With regards to this. Make sure that your console is connected to your Internet. You can check it if you're using Xbox One from Home > Settings > All Settings > Network > Network connection > Test network and multiplayer connection and all are good.

Now, once done. Please sign out from your profile and remove the profile itself. Make sure that you remember the email address and password of the account so that you can re-add it easily.

After removing it, please go to Settings > Restart Console.

When the console restarted, re-add your profile.

If I delete my profile, can I return game saves?

 

Yes, you can. If you purchased the game using your account, you will still be able to get access with your games right after you re-downloaded your profile.

 

I know this is basic, but have you powered down the Xbox One and unplugged from Power and also done this with your router, powered it off. I have to do this with just my router about once a week, I did at least until I purchased a new router. The new one
works fine.

 

That's good to hear from you. This case didn't actually happen to all accounts downloaded on the same console. There are instances wherein your profile couldn't get online and when you sign out and sign in using a different account, it will work. So, it
is not something to do with the connection but the unnecessary running cache or a data that could be corrupted for that account that possibly causing the issue but thanks though.

 

do not do this suggested step if your console says everything is fine and its a problem on xbox side. i had the same thing suggested to me by an xbox support agent and was unable to retrieve my profile until i switched internet sources. i am currently experiencing
the same issue again, status on here says all is well, but my console says otherwise. currently in my network settings i am connected, home screen says otherwise and so does the network test, even though i was playing online fine last night. if anyone can
explain this to me it would be great, and no its not my internet, i tested it today as well as yesterday and the speeds are identical

 

it's not an issue with your Internet, it's an issue with the unnecessary running cache stored on your profile. When you're signed into your profile, it seemed that you're offline but when you test your network and multiplayer connection, everything seemed
fine. That's the time that you will need to sign out from your profile, remove it and once removed, restart your console and then re-add your profile. This will only apply for the account not able to connect to Live even if console is connected to their Internet.
