Cannot connect to Xbox live.

PLEASE READ THROUGHLY.

My XBox 360 slim isn't able to connect to the internet. It connects to the network, but doesn't connect to the internet. No matter what I do I get "disconnect your router or modem for 30 seconds, and wait 30 seconds."

1) I disconnected both modem and router for 30 seconds; waited for thirty seconds and still cannot connect.

2) I disconnected the router for 30 seconds; waited for thirty seconds and still cannot connect.

3) I disconnected modem for 30 seconds; waited for thirty seconds and still cannot connect.

4) I cleared the cache and tried again, still the same "30 second" message comes up.

5) Tried "restore to factory settings," and same message.

6) Deleted my profile and cleared cache three times and still same message.

7) I restored my modem and router to factory and remade the the network with different settings, and still same message.

8) Cannot use an ethernet because the plug for it on the Xbox doesn't work, not an issue because I been playing wirelessly for over 5 years.

Any help?

Disconnected from live when I sign in.

MaxBox99 in order to connect to Xbox live you need an Xbox live profile, you cannot connect to Xbox live without having an valid Xbox live account.

Am having the same issues.

I get exactly the same kind of error as when Xbox was DDOS'd over Christmas.

If i had to guess, i'd say they have suffered another DDOS.

I only ever get this kind of connection issue when Xbox Live has suffeered DDOS.

But obviously Xbox Live never actually say that thats the case, they just keep making us do

network tests that do nothing to help us at our end.

A simple heads up from Xbox would be great, rather than directing us to "help" pages that are]

never going to resolve the issue, because it's not an issue with us, it's an issue at XboxLive's end.

 

I'm able to sign in, but I keep getting disconnected every 15 minutes or so. It's been like this for the past couple days. My Xbox One is perfectly fine, though.
