Cannot Connect to Xbox LIVE via WiFi (Only can connect via Ethernet)

Hello Xbox LIVE Community,

I have a problem with my Xbox 360. Well, for some reason, I cannot sign in to Xbox LIVE via WiFi. I only can connect to Xbox LIVE via Ethernet. This really bugs me because I have to move my router to the room where the Xbox 360 is in, and then when I am done,
I have to re-plug it in. I have tried numerous methods to fix this, but they do not work. Please help me out!

(Also, my console isn't banned from Xbox LIVE)

are you connected to Live via wifi or are you hard wired?

 

New Smartglass app for xbox one

I am excited for xbox one and I have already preorederd a day one console. The new second screen experience also excites me. What I would like to know is as follows: I connect my 360 with an Ethernet cable to my wireless router to minimize latency. I know
that the new smartglass can connect via wifi. Will I be able to use smartglass via wifi but connect to live with a wired connection? Can I do both?

 

Cannot edit, but when I mean re-plug the router, I meant that I have to put it back in the other room.

 

Does your WiFi detect your Connection? If not, have you tried going to the WiFi setting and manually entering your information for your router?

 

It does detect my router. And I even tried going to manual setup for Wifi

 

Alright, so when you try to connect to your router and you run the Xbox Live test, where does it fail?

 

It fails when i connect to the router itself

 

Like it says Xbox 360 then it has a X then it says my WiFi network name, it didnt show up any other parts of the XboxLIVE test

 

Have you tried resetting your router?
