Hi All,

I am unable to connect my Xbox 360 to my wifi network over WPA2 security. It is only working with WEP or no security.

Is there any fix for this issue. I googled the issue and tried everything I could but still no luck.

I am using Belkin N150 modem router Australian model. I even don't have only WPA option on my router to try it. If I change the security to WEP my laptop doesn't connect to the wifi network..

Please help me fix this problem.

That won't work I'm afraid. Why don't you use powerline adapters/homeplugs instead?

Are you by any chance able to connect your console via Ethernet?

Also, could you please tell me if your Router is running the latest firmware? Is WPS (Wifi Protected Setup) disabled?

My router has latest firmware update and I have tried disabling WPS but nothing worked ..

May I ask which version of the 360 you are using? (You can check your version here:

en.wikipedia.org/.../List_of_Xbox_360_retail_configurations)

Does your Router support DD-WRT?

 

My Xbox model is 360 E 4gb..

I don't think my router supports DD-WRT..

 

The only thing I could think of would be to bridge the router, or to use WEP on both your laptop and Xbox at this time. My apologies.
