I have: reset modem and console, cleared the system cache, deleted gamertag profile, enabled UPnP and disabled, configured network and restored to factory defaults,

called service provider and was told it was an xbox issue. Talked to xbox live and went through steps but nothing worked.

Super frustrated! Please help.

Cannot install update or connect to Xbox live on Xbox 360

I cannot get my son's Xbox 360 to connect to Xbox Live and will not do a system update. It does connect to the internet during a the test but will not go further to connect to Live. I have tried every single thing the Xbox 360 help page tells me to do
and I cannot find a phone number anywhere to try to contact a support agent. Has anyone had these issues and resolved them? I have had almost a years worth of Xbox Live gone to waste because I cannot get this issue resolved. I am VERY frustrated!!

I am unable to connect to xbox live. I have tried almost everything. What is going on?

 

You are not alone. I tried everything and been in live chat with someone almost everyday. Just got off with a guy who i though knew what he was doing. I wasted nearly two hours only to have it says I can't connect to xboxnlive and he says his systems are
up and running. Such BS.

 

This is exactly why I stopped using the playstation consoles. It is worse with xbox. We pay for unreliable servers. At least Sony servers are free.

 

how many times did you clean your cache? Its important because I was busy with this problem about 2 weeks and all I needed to do first was cleaning a cache about 3 or 4 times! Finaly, I did it, my console works correct now but all files in system memory
affected I need to format it now I guess

 

I have the same error and problem using a netgear c3700 and cox cable. I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support for nothing to work. I really hope the resolve this as I pay to use this service. I've tried everything ight have to format my Xbox.

 

I haven't been able to connect since the end of December.
