Cannot Connect To Xbox Live (Please Help!)

Hello!

I have an issue connecting to Xbox Live out of nowhere. Last night it was working fine, but all of a sudden I cannot sign into Live. I tried resetting my router and that did not work. I test network connection and it tells me my console is connected to the
internet. Then I went to test multiplayer connection and tells me "Can't finish multiplayer tests". When I attempt to sign into my account it says "There was a problem" and gives me a sign in code 0x87DD0017

Network Status says my NAT Type is strict and All services are available. I'm also running a wired connection on my Xbox One.

On my PC and iPhone and can still access sites no problem. I have noticed a decrease in internet speed though when trying to load a page which I have never encountered before. I'm in a dilemma and in serious need of help! Thank you!

So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
800704cd. Please help!!

I'm somehow able to connect to Live, but when trying to sign in it gives me the same message "There was a problem" followed by error code 0x87DD0019 Nat Type still says strict.

Have you encountered that "NAT strict" problem before? Habe you configured any forwardings on your router? Have you restarted your router already?

Please be aware that there were some outages on the services the last hours which may affect your login also.

was the reset you done just the switch or the full power?

I would try a hard reset on both xbox and router.

disconnect both from mains for a few mins

turn router back on first, then xbox.

I'm also experiencing troubles at the moment with multiplayer, but mine appear to be linked to my Live subscription.

The tech team are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. They will update that page every 30 minutes with updates until the problem is addressed. Once that is achieved, you should have no further issue, if you do, please come back and create your
own threads and detail as much information as possible.

For those that dont know or have had their head buried in the sand lately, the Live network has been hacked by a rogue hacking group. Microsoft were warned of this happening on xmas day well in advance but have either failed to take it seriously or not managed
to identify where the hack (the flaw the hackers exploited), was going to take place. Now for either reason, most XboxOne users have had extremely limited or no online activity today.

Yes it does beg the question, Isnt what we are paying supposed to ensure this sort of thing doesnt happen? Isnt Microsoft the worlds biggest computer organisation? So surely they must have some of the worlds best online security in the world? I guess not!!
But I think they are working on it meticulously to bring us all back online ASAP, and also I am sure they will explain just how this hack has happened and what they plan on doing to prevent this type of thing happening in the future. One can hope anyway.....

So a group of sorry individuals, hacked xbox live, do we know for what reason? I know there is a lot of disappointed kids today on Xmas. Y'all are sorry people so bored and unhappy , you have to mess with thousands of kids and parents live 's.

Window live support should help reset like jayhawk suggested. Try going on the website first and see if you can change it there, if not call their support number

First, if you need want to change the WLID associated with your gamertag and cannot do so by following the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../manage-live-id then you will need to get in touch with phone support for your region. They will be able to assist you further with this matter.

Second, if you are having any further difficulties with your personal email, I would suggest getting in touch with support for your provider. They should be able to work with you to get the issue sorted.
