Cannot connect to xbox live or play games

Attempted to log to xboxlive but when I push "please sign in" on dash, the screen goes dim for several seconds and does nothing. Also, my xboxone is not recognizing that I have a game disc in the trey. When I try to load a game, it goes to a screen of
the game does not load. Cannot access any apps or check settings. i do not know what to do right now.

xbox live

I am unable to connect to xbox live on my xbox one although my gold membership is still valid. I can download games but cannot connect to xbox live and play online games. any solution

Hi dan, try going into settings and selecting network, advanced setting, and clear MAC. Your console will restart and hopefully you'll be able to connect to the internet again.

For your second problem with the games go to settings, system and select clear local saved data and try to restart the game.

My third solution is trying a hard reset by holding the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec. After 30 sec plug it back in and power back on. Hopefully on of the 3 solutions will work
for you.

Having similar problems but my xbox starts normally signs in normally but when I try to launch a game it launches only up to the point where the game asks you to press menu and that's it it actually never goes past that even when I try to launch the apps
it doesn't even loads just that round loading icon. Tried this on almost all my games but when I try to play a film blu ray or DVD it works fine.

i can log in fine but it cant find any games to put me in?

I have been having this issue for months and have been back and forth with microsoft and xbox live and I'm furious! I'm paying for Live and cannot reliably connect to the damn service! I pay for Netflix that we cannot watch and live that I cannot stay connected
to games to play! What the hell is going on??

It says that the console cannot connect to xbox live and asks me to test my network connection. However I am connected when I attempt to play any other game online.

Titanfall is a multiplayer-only game and requires you to be connected to Xbox Live in order to get into a lobby and play with others. You cannot play this game offline.

yeah me 2 having the same trouble was playing earlier connected to the internet but cannot connect to xbox live, maybe xbox live has gone down?
