Cannot connect to Xbox live in any way possible.

3-4 months since i got a new xbox 360 (yes i know it's very late) and i'v never been able to connect to Xbox live.

-I live in Lebanon.

-Thomson telecom router brand.

-Thomson TG585v7 router.

-Got a lot of stuff connected to my router, phones, laptops, etc.

-Only my pc is using Ethernet from the router, other are wireless.

-UPnP is enabled.

-No NAT error.

-My ISP is Ogero.

W: 0000 - 0021

X: 0000 - 000D

Y: 00C2 - 0380

Z: 0000 - 0000

ID: 0006 - 0000

L: 8015 - 1000

Q: 8007 - 0435

T: Wireless

D: 192.168.1.254

S: WPA2

C: 11

I have tried everything, Ethernet, bridge connections, wireless, restarted my router and Xbox, but nothing worked.

Xbox Live is not working

My xbox can connect to the internet, however it cannot connect to xbox live. Any ideas?

Hi there,

Thank you for posting that information, it's very useful. I see the problem is on the "Y" line of that coding. This is sometimes internet related, but also can come up if your Xbox has previously been in for repair. The Xbox will often have a temporary ban
while it's in for repair, this is purely precautionary incase the console is ever lost or stolen in transit, nobody will then be able to use that console again.

A ban code will appear also on the "Z" line, but that's only down to the owner breaking codes of conduct/cheating/modding etc. Yours is all zero's so it's perfectly fine.

I recommend you call Xbox Support tech team & let them know that code on the "Y" line - they should be able to fix that for you in a jiffy

I have an xbox360 we have not used for a while. When I start it up it says an update is available from xbox live. The download fails and fails and fails. It also says I cannot connect to xbox live until I get the update, which I cannot get. The system is
basically useless. I have reset to defaults, tested connections, network statistics are soli, router connection is fine...just cannot do an update or connect to xbox live. Microsoft “support” was a nightmare to get to a human, and then got a useless cookie
cutter link by way of an answer. There doesn’t seem to be any way to see if the console is using correct information to connect to xbox live (user, password, etc. Any Ideas before I throw this thing out?
