Cannot connect to Xbox Live - Having a breakdown! PLEASE HELP!

Hello.

I wonder if someone could help me please? Having a major breakdown here!

2 issues going on...

First off, for some reason I cannot connect to Xbox live. I havent changed anything on my wireless network, my Xbox has always been connected fine. So I have been testing the connection for the last few days and it gets to where it is trying to connect to
Xbox live and fails. I sign into my gamertag ok (MCHODGE) but cannot connect to xbox live!

It sometimes gives error codes....8015190B and 80151909 and sometimes it just says I need to reboot my router.

So after a bit of googling, I visit Xbox.com to try and sign in there and test my gamertag. I sign in using my email address and password but for some reason its allocated me a randomly generated gamer tag! Which I am posting this under.....(my gamertag
is actually MCHODGE)

Is someone able to help please? Ive tried to use the chat function on teh xbox website too but no one responds!

I just want my xbox live back :-(

I am having a problem with an Xbox error code 0x90070490 i cannot connect to Xbox live. Please help.

Hi, trying to connect to community on forza 4 but get a message stating "Sorry, the game cannot connect to xbox LIVE. This feature cannot be used at this time." my internet and xbox live connections are fine. please help.

 

Oh and here is some information from my connection tests.... (I live in the UK)

W: 0000 - 0021

X: 0000 - F001

Y: 00A8 - E820

Z: 0000 - 0000

ID:0006 - 0001

L: 8015 - 190B

Q: 8007 - 0435

T: Wireless

D: 192.168.0.1, 0.0.0.0

S: WPA2

C: 1

 

I had these exact same error messages my friend. I got in contact with microsoft and the woman there talked me through it.

Apparently it's something to do with corrupt XBL update. I deleted the update and installed it again following her steps and I didn't disconnect from XBL at all that night.

Go to your Dashboard

Go to settings

Select System

Select Storage

Mark the HDD (but don't press A)

Press LB RB X (at the same time)

Select 'Yes'.

That will delete the update and restart your xbox. Once your Xbox is back on, it'll tell you to download the update again.

This SHOULD fix it. It did for me so far.

Thank you for your response. I tired what you suggested, but no joy! :-(

Deleted the update, the console rebooted but when it turned back on, still the same, no Xbox live.

Live says on the test......Live Connection Error, reboot your router...!
