Cannot Connect to Xbox Live from any Backwards Compatible Games.

Once I heard that Dark Souls was backwards compatible now for Xbox one I decided it would be nice to get on and play for awhile. I downloaded Dark Souls and launched the game,but when I try to connect to Xbox Live (Download an account) it tells me that it
cannot connect to Xbox live although when I play any Xbox One game like Black Ops 3 I connect perfectly fine. I've tried many things to solve this problem like deleting and re downloading my profile from the Xbox one home screen,and clearing all Xbox 360 storage
on my Xbox one,but none of that worked. I even tried to play on my brothers Xbox one which actually worked,but told me I needed to get on my Xbox to upload all my cloud storage anyways. So basically due to this I cannot play online with any backwards compatible
games, but I can't even save or load any of my previous saves to play with them. Any and all help with this situation will be appreciated!

Problems connecting to XBOX LIVE specifically from backwards compatible games on Xbox ONE.

Hi there. Can anyone tell me why I cannot connect to Xbox LIVE from any backwards compatible game on Xbox ONE.? Say, I can connect on Xbox ONE, play all normal and smooth, but on any Xbox 360 game, it will not let me. It´s kinda funny. I receive the message
that leds you to check your connection on Xbox 360, yet I'm on Xbox LIVE back at the main menu of Xbox ONE.

Help...

Xbox live issues

My Xbox one works fine with all games. I can connect to Xbox live and everything just fine. But, when I get on any backwards compatible game, it tells me that I cannot connect to Xbox live. I tried to delete my account, but now it is telling me I can't download
it again because I cant connect to Xbox live. There is no issue with my internet either.

Hello PikaPwned,

Have you tried factory restoring your Xbox One with the option to keep all games and apps? You can find this setting under System>Console Info and Updates!

No, Backwards compatibility requires the game be changed to be compatible with Xbox One. You cannot load any game that isn't officially supported from Xbox or Xbox 360 on Xbox One or Series consoles

I'm having the same trouble concerning the connection to Xbox Live whenever launching any backwards compatible game.

Xbox needs approval from game publishers to make their games backwards compatible for the Xbox one. So unless Xbox gets the green light from the publisher the game cannot be made backwards compatible.
