    Cannot connect to Xbox Live for 360 games


    So here isthe issue I have run across. On my Xbox one, I am able to connect to online no problem whatsoever. I load up a backwards compatible game, I was able to use my cloud storage for my account but not have access to Xbox Live on the 360 servers of
    the emulator. I was like well I’ll soft reset my system and held the power button down for 10 seconds. That did not work. I tried resetting my router along with unplugging my system for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in, that did not work. I reset my
    MAC address, set the DNS and IP to automatic instead of manual along changed the port to what another post said, none of these suggestions worked. I finally cleared my Xbox 360 cache, it then would not allow me to redownload my account, so now I am completely
    unable to save progress to my account or even load my data from the emulator but my other accounts have access no problem whatsoever. It gives my main account and error of wrong creditials or random error codes ranging from Xbox Live servers are down to unable
    to play disc when I was not trying to do either one of those things. So I decided to pull out my Xbox 360 Arcade model, it has a connection to Xbox Live, I am able to sign into my other accounts just not my main one, went through the steps on the 360 to no
    avail none of those work. So I went to my Xbox 360 S model, hopefully it being the newest of what could originally run the 360 servers same exact issues. Been trying to resolve this for the past 4 hours, I just want to get back to achievement hunting my backlog
    of 360 games but I’m not able to even access my account except only on my Xbox One. Does anyone know what else I could try or even if something is preventing me from playing on 360 servers because I had no issue this morning playing Borderlands or Call of
    Duty Classic.

    Xbox One S's 360 Emulator WON'T Connect to Live

    The games are all digitally owned in my library. There are no discs. I had no troubles with this on my original Xbox One that recently broke and required me to buy a new Xbox One S. The emulator I am referring to is the internal emulator that all Xbox
    Ones run when playing a 360 Backwards Compatible game. When I install a 360 game and try to run it on my Xbox One S, the game will load HOWEVER I cannot connect to Xbox Live while in the 360 emulator. Due to a recent troubleshooting that suggests uninstalling
    the game and clearing 360 cache and profiles, I would need to redownload my xbox live profile for the 360 emulator ON the One S. Since the emulator WON'T connect to Xbox Live, despite my Xbox One S BEING connected to Xbox Live, I cannot download my profile
    and therefore cannot play and save my progress. I've tried with multiple games but they all give me the same issue of being "unable to connect to xbox live". I've tried all of the Mass Effect games, the Dragon Age games, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games,
    Banjo-Kazooie, and Fable series of games and NONE of these will allow me to connect to xbox live.

    Achievements not unlocking for Backwards Compatibility Games

    Factory reset is done, now I cannot sign in to Xbox Live from the 360 emulator. I am online with the Xbox 1, playing multiplayer and watching netflix, connection test shows that everything is working.

    When I open 360 games, my gamertag pops up as signed in, but not connected to Live.

    if a gamertag is never connected to xbox live, ever, on a 360 it is a local profile. you cannot use that on other devices.

    you would need to connect it to live (xbox live free is fine) and then sign into it on the lumia
