Cannot connect to Xbox app on Windows 10 (error 0x80048103)

Hi,

So i got an update for the Xbox app on W10 earlier today and since then, i just cannot connect to the service..

I'm getting the following error: 0x80048103.. Cannot find anything about it on the internet.
The problem is that without the app, i just cannot use any of my W10 games from the W10 store app.. First, i tried to reboot my pc, then, I tried to do a restauration, which failed with a error msg referring to something with the Xbox app.
I uninstalled (with powershell) and reinstalled the Xbox app. I tried to login with another account, still getting the same error..

The weird thing is that i'm connected to the Windows Store, the only place where i cannot connect to my account is on the Xbox windows app..

Running latest vestion of windows (1607 - 14393.1066) and the latest version of the Xbox app (27.28.8007.00000).

Unfortunately, i tried everything you said..

First, i can sign in and browse on xbox.com, same for the windows store, i can browse on it, check for apps, check for updates, etc...
I only have an issue with the Xbox application for windows.

I tried to force the updates for windows from the settings, to check for updates on the windows store, no new updates to install. So, still, nothing works, i'm still getting the same error message when i try to connect to my account with the xbox app.

I just found another issue. Basically, when i try to run the Windows apps troubleshooter, it says that Windows Store cache may be damaged. But again, i tried every single solution from the internet to fix it (to run WSReset as a administrator, reboot and
check again, that didnt work. To wipe the cache manually with file explorer, reboot,.. didnt work.. And finally, to wipe the cache key from the registry, reboot,.. didnt work..) but i'm still getting the same message saying that the Windows Store cache may
be damaged..

I don't know what to do at this point.. Never had such problems on W10.. But since the last update, i just can't find a way to make this xbox app work..

I still have hope, i really do not want to reset my entire pc because of one small update..

Based from the error message you've received when running the apps troubleshooter, this may be due to corrupted Windows Store's cache. We suggest manually resetting Windows Store. Here are the steps:

1. Press Windows + R keys to open the run command box.
2. Type WSReset and press Enter.
3. Restart your device, launch the app, and then connect your Xbox account.

If the same instance occurs, kindly reset the Xbox app. Refer to the following steps:

1. Click Start and click Settings.
2. Select System.
3. Select Apps & features.
4. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.
5. Click Reset.
6. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.
7. Launch the Xbox app and check if the same instance occurs.
