Cannot connect to wireless network

It will recognise the wireless network etc, but when I run the test it says 'Network- Failed 'Internet- Blocked' and 'Xbox Live- Blocked'. It was working up until recently but now I just cannot sign in or use any apps. Have contacted my internet provider
and they have said the issue isn't with them. Tried all the router settings but everything is as it should be but I still cannot connect. Help Please?!

If you're connecting on a Wireless N network, then you need WPA2 or Unsecured. But if you're on Wireles G then I would suggest using WPA (WPA-PSK). It just usually seems to be easier on the Xbox 360. Also if you have difficulties with other devices then

What does the test details page say? Any error codes? Run the Network Statistics and tell us what it says.

I changed my router setting to WPA and WPA2 which not only keeps my other devices connected but also allowed my Xbox to connect as well. Major props to Jimalcoatl and SuparFubar.

To Thanadous: Do you have any other devices that connect to your router? If you don't have an option for WPA2 + (something else to keep those devices connected) then you'll have to choose WPA2 only and change the setting of the other devices to WP2 so
they can connect also. Hope that's somewhat helpful.

I have this same problem with my xbox s it will connect with the modem wirelessly but will with a cable. This only happened since the update on xbox too. Using netgear n300 so you are not alone

Is NAT Type Open? Don't know what this is, sorry.

Any Error Codes you encounter: No error codes, just a screen saying it can't connect.

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? Not sure, but we only have Sky on the island.

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Manx Telecom

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" and click on "More info", what is the exact message shown on screen? For wireless, make sure your xbox360 wireless adaptor is connected to your console (it is and the green light is flashing).
