    Cannot connect to wifi network


    My Xbox One has stopped connecting to my home wifi. Keeps telling me that the password does not match the network. I have reset the console and the router. Password works fine on both my laptop and phone so I know I have no issue with there.

    I have also tried connecting my console to my phone as a hotspot and again still get the same problem.

    wifi issues

    So recently my xbox one has not been able to connect to my wifi network. It has before in the past and one day up and stopped working. I've called xbox customer support and went through troubleshoot steps with them but so far they have not helped. The wifi network shows up but whenever i try to test the network connection i get an error message that says 'cannot get an IP address'. I tried a wired connection and that works but i am not able to keep it wired all the time. If anyone might have a solution please help!

    xboxone does not like my wifi password - which HAS NOT changed and is working on other wifi devices!

    It all started by getting kicked from a game and now cannot connect to live. I try and re-establish a wifi network connection, see my wifi on the list of choices, and go to connect and it won't take the password (and I am not making typos). I have other
    devices (phones and laptops) able to connect to wifi. I cannot remove my password and go open, my ISP does not allow a user back end to my network settings.

  5. i am having same problem cannot connect to wireless network if its not one thing its another ever since i joined the preview program i wish there was away to opt out of this

  6. I'm having the same sort of issue. I recently became a member of the preview programme and since then have had trouble with my xbox. on numerous occasions my xbox keeps telling me that the password does not match the network when trying to reconnect to live.
    I also try joining friends parties and it would work for around 30 seconds then it would say I'm not in a party and then again disconnect from xbox live. Even when my Nat type is open its still playing up. I'm hoping this will be fine come later tonight as
    Ive pre downloaded Advanced warfare so it will suck if I don't get to play it !!!

    @EmperorAdewold. Can you not leave the program from within the Xbox preview dashboard app? under registration?

    For your understanding: it is not possible to unenroll from the preview program during aa rolling wave. If someone wants to be unenrolled, he can change the status in the preview dashboard app but will only be released as soon as the dashboard update has
    gone public. Not before.



    To the other guys: you are encountering a typical problem of being part in a beta program. This is why beta programs are done. To sort out possible problems. So please stay calm and use the above given link for further troubleshooting in the preview forums.



    For those who want to opt out: please use your dashboard preview app, go to registration and change the status of your console. Nevertheless you will have to wait to be released from the program until the current wave becomes a public update. You will not
    receive updates then for the next wave for December.



    (And a little help für all of you: at the moment it seems that unplugging Kinect may do the trick to get the WiFi back working.)
