Cannot connect to the wifi

My xbox says the console is connected to the internet but it acts as though i’m not. I’ve tried rebooting and everything. When i try connecting to the wifi it says i’m connected but i cannot access anything.

i just bought a new Xbox One, and i cannot connect to the wifi, i cannot update it cause i cannot connect to the wifi, and i don't even know what to do at the moment, any help please.

Tried everything and it's not working. The console sees the wifi and tries to connect to it but it always fail saying that it cannot connect to that wifi. MAC filtering isn't doing anything and neither is IPV6.

Please, try clearing your MAC address.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.

1) Collect the MAC address of your console, tape it to the console, and ask the hotel to 'whitelist' it so i doesn't ask for that access code for you.

2) Use ICS and connect through a laptop - see

Both work wired as well as wireless in case you land in a hotel w/out WiFi
