Cannot connect to party chat

My NAT is open, which took some reworking of my network that was working just fine before the 02/14 update, my friends NAT is open, but when we try to connect to chat, it will not let us. To add insult to frustration, it tells me to go to xbox.com/errorhelp
and enter code 0x807d0106 so that we can investigate, yet xbox.com does not recognize this error code. Party chat was working fine for me for the most part until very recently.

Live Service not working in COD IW and Chat is not stable

Cannot connect to Multiplayer in COD IW, and party chat keeps failing...

Party chat

When playing Battlefield 4 with my friend , we have tried to join a party chat and we cannot both connect at the same time. If I make the chat and he tries to connect a dialog box pops up saying cannot connect to party, please try again later.

Anyone know of any solutions or if they are patching this?

Try rebooting you router and your Xbox fully. Then re-check your NAT. Someones is not open. support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console

The party and game invite system sucks. You basically have to let the party do it for you. Which is lame. Party chat sucks also. If you're not playing the same game as someone else, party chat gets weird. It'll keep saying "Cannot connect to party chat".

The link's advice does not work, all my friends have open nats and we still keep getting "can't connect to chat" errors, there seems to some correlation between ingame chat and party chat, for example, if one of us is in BF4 then joining chat seems to fail,
if we are all at Xbox home, it seems to connect.

Go figure!

Skype! Of course, didn't think of that, i guess it will do till microsoft get their overly wealthy arses in gear, was the app released for the 360? That would mean you could get all your friends in, cross platform.
