    Cannot connect to parties or friends.


    For the past couple days I haven't been able to connect to my friends in a game nor have I been able to join or start a party. When checking my network settings I found that my UPnP was unable to connect, I resolved that problem on my router. Now it is saying
    that I have a double NAT detected, and I have a strict NAT type. I've called my internet provider, and Microsoft. Mircorsoft stated I may be affected by this issue they are having, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions for me.

    Open NAT but still cant connect to friends

    Same happens to me sometimes, I cannot connect to certain parties and when I do, it takes like 15 seconds. That is certain friends though. I know one guy on my friends list that I cannot connect to at all. The second I attempt to join party it tells me I
    cannot connect... lol doesn't even give it a second to connect.

    Cannot Connect to Parties or Send Friend Requests?

    It is currently not allowing me to send Friend Requests and also not allowing me to join Party Chats or let anyone join mine.

    My NAT Is Open and i've already done cleared my System Cache, there is no error numbers it just says "Xbox Live Currently Cannot Connect to Party Chat" and it says this for Friend Requests "Cannot Complete this process please try again later"

    I wouldn't think the snow storm hitting right now would cause this kind of effect but I don't know honestly..just wanna see if anyone would know

    I did the other night but I haven't tried since I fixed the UPnP. I would like to figure out how to fix the strict NAT issue

    Hey Jacob!

    So we do have some steps on our website that should help in the resolution of your issue.

    If you haven't tried already, then give the steps on
    Double NAT detected in your Network settings     and see if that helps any.

    If you haven't tried already, then give the steps on
    Double NAT detected in your Network settings     and see if that helps any.
