Can you post up the make and model of your modem and router. Can you also tell us if you use more than one Xbox in your household, or multiple.

Are you two connected to the same Internet Service Provider?

@TW dbmike073 - Can you confirm that your UBEE EVW3200 is operating in bridge mode.

Since you use an additional router (Belkin), the UBEE EVW3200 (modem/router/NAT) has to be operating in a pass-through mode (bridge).

Only 1 xbox on the network, other internet connection then mike, but same provider (Ziggo)

i dont know where the modem is hidden, i need to ask my family but no1 is here atm.

But a question about the port forwarding:

is it alway port 80 udp and port 88 tcp? because on portforward.com it says for my router 88 udp/tcp & port 80 udp/tcp. but the women at customer support says 80 udp, 88 tcp

 

You don't have to forward port 80 (TCP), since there is no application on your console that listen to that specific port.

The Xbox needs the following ports to be forwarded:

•Port 88 (UDP)

•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Would be great if you find out some more details about your modem.

If you're not a developer and own an Xbox 360 development kit, it doesn't fill the purpose of forwarding port 80 (TCP) and 53 (UDP and TCP).

These ports are not used for inbound connections, forwarded to your Xbox, but outbound.

 

The majority of end user NAT devices (CPE) do not filter, or put rule restrictions, regarding port 80 (TCP) and port 53 (TCP, UDP).

Login to the web-utility interface of your Belkin router and search for the WAN/Internet IP address, which is the address assigned by your ISP.

Take note of the WAN/Internet IP address and then go to
http://checkip.dyndns.com/

Now, if the Current Address that you see on that page do not match the WAN/Internet IP address that you see on your Belkin router, then you're Ubee modem is not operating in a pass-through mode, or bridge mode.

Let us know what you find out.

This happens to me all the time. The only way for me to fix it was by opening my ports.

The best answer I can give you, is that his nat my moderate or strict and your can be open.

Or vice versa.

The only other option would be the servers on Xbox LIVE.

 

@TW dbmike073 - "192.168.178.10 ". That's a problem right there. Your Ubee device is not operating in bridge mode which explains why your Belkin router receives an IP address within the
private IP range. This will have a negative impact and affect any device behind your Belkin router to be NAT'd twice.

If the Ubee device is deployed by your ISP, I suggest that you reach out to your ISP and have them know about your situation. Explain to them that you have an additional router and therefore must have the Ubee operating in bridge mode/pass-through.

Post back and let us know how that goes.
