Cannot connect to Live. xbox error 800705b4

Its not my connection. The thing asks me to confirm my email, password. It gets to the confirm screen for the passwork. Times out. Asks me to click the remember password box, tries again, and then I get the Error screen. Any ideas?

I just got a new Xbox 360s but Im not able to connect to Xbox Live.

Every time I try to connect i get this error (800705b4).

Can someone help me out?

I am getting the same thing. Have retried several dozen times. Reset internet router, wireless router. Ran the network tests - passed. Turned the console off and on. Tried, tried, tried same result.

 

I am having the same problem! Xbox live is connected. But I keep getting prompted to confirm my email and password, and then get this error. An answer would be nice, as I pay for xbox live and netflix, and it is not cool when I can't use it for no apparent
reason.

 

I hear ya man. Having to play my game offline is not fun.

 

Same error here. Came home frome a weekend away to fibd this fun gem of an issue.

 

All I want for Christmas is for Xbox live to let me sign in on my Xbox. Been having the same problem for several hours now.

 

Sounds like this is issue on their end. Surprise

 

I looked up what the error code means and it has nothing to do with the problem.

Yeah it literally does not apply to this. Its probably some kind of update that isnt taking. Like everything else, they are at a loss when the bad connection isnt the solution.

Good luck! I even called xbox hours ago. got a recorded message and they sent a text when it was supposed to be fixed. Surprise its still not fixed. Been messing with this for hours now! I dumped the cache twice deleted my profile, rebooted the router
and still nothing. The test and website claim that xbox live is up and running with everything but its not. Now the call center is conveniently closed for the night. I am calling it a night.
