Cannot connect.Check your network name and password and try again.

My Xbox One will not connect to network it was working fine until a few days ago and now not connecting to the network or Live on the Xbox One. It works fine on the XBOX 360 in the same room works fine and connects on the Internet but doesn't work on the
console. I have checked your network name and password several times it is not that. Any suggestions

I have problem trying to connect my xbox one to my wifi network, I choose the right network then I enter the right password and it still says "Can't connect.Check your network name and password and try again" and its the right network and password, I'm getting
so frustated that I can't connect to xbox live.

Someone answer this quesrion, I'm having this issue now. It's frustrating. I need a solution like... now. Xbox y u no werk!?!?

 

Do a hard shutoff of your Xbone (hold power button for 6-10 seconds) and then restart your modem (unplug the AC power cord, let it sit for a few minutes then plug it back in). Also I highly suggest putting the Xbox One on energy saving mode instead of instant
on, seems like instant on causes a lot of network issues.

3 hours .... plugging unplugging ...router firmware , SSID change , switching to an older router , switching broadcast channels and width. Changed quick start to energy saver and reset, working fine. Thanks for this, shame none of my searches found it earlier.

 

Just had this problem happen to me. Worked earlier in the day, and when I went to log in later, it would not connect to my wireless network. I changed the xbox from "instant-on" to "energy saving", then restarted, and connected back to my wireless. Works
perfectly now.

Energy saving mode will not prevent this from happening again.

I use energy saving and was getting this when using wireless.

Seemed to be caused by Destiny. Particularly dying and respawning in the crucible

I've had this issue for a month and no where on support does it provide this advice. Hard resets never worked.

I change to energy save mode and hard reset Xbone as well as reset modem and I can finally connect with my network again!!!

BTW, my modem/router is a Billion 7800NXL in case anyone with the same model is experiencing this issue.
