Cannot Configure Connect Sensor

I haven't played any kinect games for quite awhile, and when I did today it was clear that it needed to be calibrated again for the play area. Problem is, I cannot configure it. When I go to All Settings > Kinect and Devices > Kinect > I moved my kinect
sensor or I'm having trouble with kinect it takes me to the menus to configure the kinect audio. If I tell it to configure the audio, it does so, calibrates the mic, then takes me back to the Kinect menu.

Anyone have this problem or know a solution?

If you haven’t connected to Xbox Live recently, your Xbox One console may need an update. To update your console, connect to Xbox Live by using a wired or wireless connection.

When your console is connected to Xbox Live, available updates are automatically installed. After the updates are installed, test your Kinect sensor and try these steps again if necessary.

If you didn’t have your Kinect sensor plugged in when your console took an update, follow these steps to update your sensor:

Scroll left from the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Kinect & devices.

Select Kinect.

Verify that Kinect on is selected.

The console is up to date; the kinect is on.

Interesting note, if I stream to my pc, the select the "I moved my kinect sensor..." option, then it goes to the right menu, but it doesn't actually work (no green dot to line up the kinect tilt with). As soon as I stop streaming, the "I moved my kinect
sensor" option reverts back to configuring audio again.

Any other thoughts?

Yeah, they broke this in the New Xbox Experience dashboard update but it doesn't seem to be getting fixed. See this old thread forums.xbox.com/.../2079537.aspx.

Your observation about streaming to PC though is interesting, I don't think anyone else tried or discovered that. The fact that it starts to work is even more proof to me that it's broken and not removed on purpose.

It is a wireless N adapter make sure that mode is supported by what you are trying to connect it to.

to connect the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter

Attach the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to the back of your Xbox 360 console by snapping the plastic tabs on the adapter into the slots on the back of your console.
Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the back of your console.
Note If you are using a wireless adapter and a Kinect sensor, use the wireless adapter extension cable included with the Kinect sensor to plug the wireless adapter
into a USB port on the front of the console.
Flip up the antennae.
If a network cable is plugged into the back of the console, unplug it.
