    Cannot chat with xbox support because my name is greyed out


    I'm trying to chat with xbox support. My first name and last name fields are greyed out and I cannot type my name in. My email address is present and correct. There is no way for me to contact support chat.

    First Name, Last Name and email greyed out in XBox support chat

    Unable to put anything in First name, last name fields but email address is filled in but all are greyed out in the xbox support chat window so I am unable to chat with support.

    Contact us - Chat feature

    It has first and last name greyed out and I cannot start a chat session due to being required. My name is in my account and it brings up my email when clicking on "use chat", yet these two fields are left blank and cannot be accessed to even fill out to
    start a chat with support.

    No phone numbers either, only forums and tweets (which I don't do).

    I have Xbox Live Gold but I can't play any multiplayer feature

    I have tried everything that it is suggested on the forums but nothing worked, as for the subscription to Gold it shows as active on the site but no elsewhere. And as for contacting support, I can't chat withe them because the boxes where my name and last
    name should be are grey out and I can insert my name to move past that page to chat with a representative.

    Xbox support chat won't start.

    I am having the same issue. Microsoft are trying to sort it out, but my Microsoft account and billing details are all complete and it still doesn't allow me to use on line support - the first name and surname fields are greyed out so I cannot submit a support
    request online.

    can't change billing info using EITHER xbox or PC!!! Cannot contact live chat because name fields are grayed out in BOTH browsers, aggghhhhjhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
