Cannot change the email address associated with my Xbox Live Account

I tried to change the email address a few minutes ago and it worked! FINALLY!

I don't know if it was all about the info about me that were not provided till 4 weeks ago or something else. Anyway it took me less than 30 days of waiting (I added my info around 2nd Nov). Maybe they read my complaining about the account problem in a survey
I filled and changed things about my account. Maybe not. I'm glad this is over.

Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

Ok, now I understand. Follow the steps located at the link I'm posting for how to change the email address associated with the gamertag. The easiest option to do this will be on the 360. Once done, you will have freed up the email address that is currently
on it so you can create your own gamertag.

However, be aware that you cannot change the age of the gamertag once it's been set. This means that if the tag is currently adult it cannot be changed to a child account.
