    Cannot change privacy settings of my son


    Recently my son bought a game called forza horizon 3 on windows store with his account.(in pc he doesn't have xbox console) But while playin that game, some of the features were blocked and it says 'Locked This feature is blocked per your xbox live parental
    control setting' so I contacted forza support and they said that his xbox account is child account so some privacy setting must be unlocked using parent account. So I made xbox account and added him to my family in microsoft page. And in microsoft page it
    showed he is my child now. But when i went to xbox privacy setting; where it should show my and my son's privacy settings showed mine only. I waited for 48 hours and contacted xbox support through live chat but still no solution. Now it has been around 2 weeks
    and still his account settings doesn't appear in my xbox privacy settings while he is in my family in microsoft family page. Is it because he's playing on windows 10?

    • Were you able to update the billing information for the child account on the
      Microsoft Account website      ?
    • Do you have a friend or know someone who owns an Xbox console?

    It is possible that the child account is attached to a different parent account. To verify that you are using the correct parent account, we suggest that you log in using the child account on an Xbox console.

    I did have xbox account until I heard any problem from my child so I wasn't linked with his account before he bought the game.

    And I do one of his friend having xbox one console.
