    Cannot change Gamer Tag - Region/Credit Card?


    Hey,

    I am trying to change my gamer tag, however when I go to the payment screen it classifies me as being in the USA and not Canada, where I live. So I cannot put in my credit card information with my proper address to get my account changed.

    I goto my Microsoft account, which I think is linked and it has my proper address and information, yet my XBOX one does not and I have no idea where to change that or how to get my account name changed.

    Any help for this would be cool,

    - To remove All payment methods

    - You may need Country Credit Card where its your Gamer tag Region.

    Help with changing gamer tag

    i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

    I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

    I could change the region, but then I cannot use my credit card, as the billing info has to correlate to the region settings :(

    This is very frustrating. Can someone help here?

    Hello Marty83,

    Can your friends see you'r new gamer tag? Or are you the only one that can see the change yourself? This could be caused by the Xbox live server's last time i changed my gamer tag it took 3-4 days before the change was in effect. If both sides cant see
    a change I would log on to xbox.com to see if you can see the change on there. Was this change done via Credit Card or a gift card purchase?
