cannot buy anything from the microsoft store even though i have money.

So i bought an xbox one and i bought an xbox gift card to buy a game on the store.

This is all a lie apparently since i cannot use my microsoft money to buy things...?

The game i want to buy is conker live and reloaded, it says "show price" it is 9,99, i have 10,00.

When i hit confirm, xbox one tells me i have no payment method and i cannot use my money of my microsoft account...

WTF am i supposed to do now?

I have just spend £20 pounds and I can't buy anything even though I have the money in the xbox already

 

Xbox 360 is unusable.

Well their "specialist" finally contacted me. He said the store I bought my console from is not an "authorized retailer". Which is not true because it is a large online retailer. He told me that it is pretty much my problem and Microsoft will not do anything.

So I now have a $200 paperweight that I haven't been able to play for weeks. I guess I will have to buy a new console when i have extra money. I am not sure what will happen to this one. I guess it can never be played again, even though it worked fine before
but now has the stupid error message.

I have been a loyal customer of Microsoft for over ten years, but I will never buy a product from Microsoft again after how I was treated. They do not want to own up to their error, and instead blamed the retailer and put it off on me.

I strongly suggest not buying from Microsoft in the future and be very cautious if you do. I would make sure to buy from the official Microsoft store just in case your console or hardware has an problems so they cannot say you bought from an "unauthorized
retailer" and tell you it is your problem.

 

Backward compatible titles can't be purchased with prepaid cards.

You'll need a creditcard or paypal for these kind of purchases.

 

In order to purchase backward compatible games you need to have a valid credit card on your account.

 

why in heavens name did they do this, now i lost money for nothing because they did not tell me anything...

Yes, you can make the purchase on a 360. The One store has just mever been updated to see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 or original Xbox content.
