    Cannot add my new receiver in Device Control


    Hello everyone,

    I just purchased a new Yamaha RX-V379 that I want to use with my Xbox One system. I am using an IR blaster extension. Every time I try to add my device by typing in the model number, it will not proceed past the model select screen.

    Alternitavely, when I gather device codes from http://www.ueisupport.com/ , the first code listed, 4364, will not let me input it into the Xbox. It simply will not proceed past the "enter remote code"
    screen.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    AV Receiver issue with volume control

    Does the order of devices added dictate which device the xbox controls by default. I want my receiver to control volume but the xbox sends volume commands to the tv. I did add the tv first since it was part of the setup routine. I have to go back in and
    add the receiver afterwards. It does control both. Ie it turns them all on or off, but it won't send the volume up command to the receiver.

    Yep. Mine controls the TV and audio receiver fine, but cannot control anything on my Directv HR23/700.

    xBOX ELITE WARRANTY

    You can send the controller in for repair but when the device is out of warranty there is a charge. If you buy a new controller you can add the extended warranty.

    I had my Xbox controller sent in for repairs, after which I received it but I have no idea what was done to it?

    You would need to check the serial number on the controller box or the first email received, after the replacement the device site will show the new device serial number automatically
