Cannot add friend on Xbox for Windows 10

    Cannot add friend on Xbox for Windows 10


    My friend made an Xbox account so she could play Happy Wars with me on Windows 10. I added her as a friend using the Xbox app and she added me as well (Because you cannot accept or deny friend request on the app), and I couldn't invite her. I checked the
    Xbox app and she was no longer listed as a friend, and she showed up before. I went to her profile, removed her as a friend, and added her again. I even went to Xbox.com and she does show up as a friend, however, she does not show up on my friends' list and
    I can't invite her to games, and she has the same issue. What's going on and how do I fix it?

    Adding Friends to Microsoft Bingo

    I have found through the Xbox app for my android phone I have been able to add friends to my ingame friends list. also I have realized that to have friends that are on my Xbox friends list they have to be added to my Xbox 360 friends list to appear as friends
    in my games. I do not understand why I cannot just add friends in game through the Windows 10 game screen.

    Account setup wrong? Or bug?

    So Im trying to play online on Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and it says "You cannot add friends because of how your Xbox Live account is setup." Ah so somethings wrong with my setup. But I dont get how on my Xbox 360 I can add friends and play online but
    not for my computer. Both of these are both on the same account meaning there shouldn't be a difference but oddly there is. Any help please?

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Did any error message pop-up for you or your friend? That little bit of info will help a bunch. In the meantime, have you both tried adding each other directly through Xbox.com or the Xbox app on Windows Phone/Android/iOS? Give
    that extra step and shot and let us know if you catch any error messages that pop up!
