    Cannot add friend- I only shows as a follower or favourite


    I currently don't have access to my xb1. However I do have my 360 and access to my account on my laptop.

    I've sent an invite to him to become a friend and i showed up as a follower, however he couldn't see an option to then turn me to a friend. After cancelling the invite and re-trying I now show as a favourite on his a/c.

    How can he add me as a friend, this seems ridiculously hard and was never like this on the 360.

    Followers not showing up

    I've been having this issue for several months now with no fixes yet. People are adding me as a friend and sometimes I get a notification and sometimes not! When I view their profile it shows them as following me but they don't appear on my followers
    list!! My friends number is higher than my followers number and this is incorrect as I only follow or add people who follow me! This is a widespread problem! I've done several of the troubleshooting steps like hard reset, remove and then re-add profile, contacted
    them to un-follow then re-add me, I've even restored to factory defaults but no luck!

    Problem with Xbox one followers

    when you add someone on Xbox one you have the option to add friend,follow, or both. It's possible they only friended you and didn't follow as friending only is the default. I would reach out and confirm this for yourself

    On the Xbox One, any friend requests will be followers if requested from a 360. They will show up as a follower until you add them back.

    The 360 and Xbox One friend system seems to work in different ways. Try asking your friend to go onto his 360 (if he still has one) and accepting your request from there, or on the PC.

    If you added him as a friend. On his sude you'll been shown as a follower.

    Now he can go to follower and select you and also add as a friend or favorite.

    You will not recieve a message to accept his friendship like on 360.

    Yep and also it means you reach 1000 friends on the one.

    Now he can go to follower and select you and also add as a friend or favorite.

    How can I change my child's (MS Family) permissions to allow them to add friends in Minecraft (Win10 PC version - Not Java)?
