    Cannot add account to Xbox One S


    When I attempted to login into my account on my xbox (Xbox already had account on it for years, just needed to login using passcode), I would enter passcode then it would have the spinning wait circle before closing but not logging into my account. I then tried removing my account, but it gave me an error code which I don't remember basically saying try again, which I did... to no avail. I then tried the "Reset but keep games" option for the xbox. After it did, it now won't let me add account. I press the "add account" button, it thinks for a bit, and then after like 20 seconds it closes and acts as if I didn't even try. I even tried the "hold home button on xbox for 10 and 30 seconds" tricks. At this point what else do I do? A full reset?

    I see. Try to connecting to a different network and see if that makes a difference. You can use your phone hotspot

    Sorry, but the problem isnt signing in on my xbox, the problem is that it doesnt even let me try. If select the "add account" button in the side home menu, all it does it pop up a window with a spinning circle indicating its loading. Then instead of showing another menu where i can insert my account login info, it just closes the window altogether after about 10-20 seconds and leaves me back in side home menu where you can press "add account" again to repeat the process. Let me know if you understand this please, id love for your help.

    Go to Xbox.com to see if you can sign in with your account. Also try adding a different account to see if that works. Let me know what happens

    just to add, the reason you cannot remove the Xbox account is that IS the Microsoft account, the Microsoft account covers lots of services from Microsoft and obviously they cannot be removed or split as it is just ONE account.
