Cannot access forums when logged into account

Hi guys, I am writing this post from my wife's account as I have a strange problem with mine.

When I am not logged into any account, I can see forums.xbox.com, but as soon as I login to account mroseneoV , I get the following error message for all pages under forums.xbox.com.

This error only happens on my account, my wife's is fine even on the same computer. I had a one hour chat with your support team and they verified that account is in good standing and could not find an issue. The best they could do is tell me to post here
with another account.

FYI if you can log into the forum with the account associated with your tag then you are not banned as banned accounts cannot access the forums when banned.

 

Lost early access forum right since 2 days

Hello, it seems I very lost my rights to access to the xbox one preview forum (early access tab is not visible anymore when I m logged into my account), is there any way to restore those rights ? Thx for ur help

 

Hi,

May I ask, have you checked that you are using the website for your country/region? If you are using the correct values, try change the location, to a different location, and see if it throws up with the same error message.

If the "Change location", at the bottom of each forum page, is not visible, go to: http://support.xbox.com and change your location from there instead.

Did you fix this for the account mroseneoV? That is the one I am having trouble with. is my wife's account that I am using just so I can post this for you.

I have tried changing regions etc, and nothing has helped. I can verify that the same issue is still occurring.

This seems a bit strange that the account does not display the pages for your account, but will display the pages for your wife's account. Have you tried through a different browser, or clearing the cache for the browser?

It may be a cookie for your profile that is causing this sort of problem. Does your wife sign into the community regularly, or do you?

To clear your cache, please follow these instructions:

Internet Explorer 9&10

1. Navigate to the gear icon at the top right of the window,
2. Press Internet Options,
3. Select Delete browsing history
4. And select what type of data you wish to clear. For this, I would try Cookies.
   

Microsoft Edge

1. Select the more icon (...),
2. Click onto Settings,
3. Scroll down until you come to Clear Browsing Data,
4. And follow the onscreen instructions.

Google Chrome

1. Click onto the More icon (Three lines),
2. Scroll down and select Advanced Options,
3. Select Clear browsing Data
4. Follow instructions on screen.

Hey, Michael! I believe I've cleared up what you are running into. Can you try logging into the forums on your mroseneoV account, please? Let us know it works by posting back on that account.

I have been asked to post here by Microsoft support as I am suffering the same issue,

My account with the issue is "Combo Jon" and I cannot access the forums as per the message in the opening post.
