    Cannot access email address associated with Xbox 360 account


    Hello,

    I was hoping someone could help me. I was trying to access the email associated with my gamertag for my Xbox 360 and like most forums, it tells you to go to settings & then account. Unfortunately the account tab is blanked out and you cannot access it.
    I might need to login to the account on Xbox Live but obviously need the email address which I do not have.

    Any help would be greatly appreciative.

    How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

    Overview

    It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

    Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

    How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

    1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

    2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

    How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

    1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

    3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

    4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

    5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

    In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

    Connecting to xboxlive

    Hi I am trying to connect to xbox live and cannot. I received an email to account proof my settings and I did I went to account settings sent an email and phone code to accoutn proof it then went in to some passcode to get access and got lost from there.
    Now I cannot sign in to xbox live it asks for microsoft account email and i provide my hotmail account. and password and it will not sign me in . then i saw another email associated with this account and cannot access that information. so i inputed another
    email address and that does not work either. on xbox live it states one email address on xbox 360 it had another email address.

    Please help I cannot access my xbox live account. is it because of system updates or down period?

    You signed in with a different email than what is with the account that is associated with your xbox 360 profile you can find the email associated with that profile by signing in on the account on the 360 going to settings and account and then billing info
    and it will show you the email address that is associated with that gamer tag

    Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

    In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

    it cannot be done, you can create an alias (new email address) for the account and then make that primary and remove the old address. but the account will always be associated with that xbox profile.
