    Xbox wont let me open/play anything

    same problem and the same error code....cannot access any game or application, even youtube app send me back with the 0x87de0017. there is an alert on xbox live, said about the problems with Purchase and Content Usage, but gaming is "up and running"

    Connected Online and still no marketplace...

    Sorry. By no Marketplace, I mean that I cannot connect to the marketplace or get updates for games already owned. The only Error code I get is when I turn on the Xbox 360. Error code: 80072741. I've now turned off UPnP.

    Problem

    You see the following error code and message when you try to install Games for Windows Marketplace:

    Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later.

    Error code: 80070002

    This may mean that there's a problem with the Xliveredist.msi file you downloaded to set up the Games for Windows Marketplace application.

    Solutions

    To resolve this problem, go to the folder where you saved the Xliveredist.msi file and delete the file. Then, redownload the file and try the installation again.

    If you keep getting the error, contact Xbox Support.
