Cannot Access All Game Captures to Delete Them

While trying to free up space on the Xbox Network so I never run into the problem of not being able to capture, I ran across some captures that are stored online but I cannot gain access to delete them.

Firstly on the Manage Captures page under the game select dropdown I select, for example, SplinterCellConviction because it is listed and therefore implies captures. But instead it has a wide open page that says "Here's where your captures go". There is also one of these phantom pages for The Stick of Truth(TM).

I then visited a third party website that allows you to view Xbox Captures, where I can clearly see clips from each game stored under my gamertag.

I also noticed that all of my old Upload Studio files are stored on the network as well, and I would like to delete those too. I obviously can no longer access them as the app was deprecated.

I've looked all over and can't find a way to access these videos to delete them via Xbox or the Phone app, I've read all the help articles I can find and wasn't able to find an existing thread regarding this problem. Apologies if it's a repeat of an older question.

If there is no way for me to do it, can I log a ticket somehow to get them scrubbed manually?

Thanks for the follow-up. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out where they might have been. With the update you provided above, I will look into why they showed up on a new device now.

2nd Followup. After buying a new phone and installing the Xbox app on that, the oldest videos that were previously not viewable were there.

I was able to successfully delete them.

I don't know what exactly caused this to be possible, but either way it is now resolved. Thank you.

I am afraid that did not work.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I tried a few times to check in the days after I made the post but the forums page would time out when I tried to log in. Then life got in the way.

I had to download the old deprecated Xbox Companion app to try this, and no dice. The App doesn't have the listings for the invisible game captures my Xbox shows.

I have them both up right now, and the Xbox is showing listings for games that the PC App is not.

PC app lists all the captures alphabetically by game, and stops at Rocket League.

The Xbox still shows SplinterCellConviction and The Stick of Truth below Rocket League in the list of games to view.

There is also the matter of Upload Studios videos which I cannot see either.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can try.

Sorry to hear about your game capture issues. Do these clips show up if you go into the Xbox console companion app on windows?

Specifically, when you open the app, select the Capture button along the left bar. Using the filters at the top, select "On Xbox Live" and "By Game"

This should allow you to scroll down to the mentioned game pages and find the captures. Keep in mind that game names are based on what the publisher asked for so Splinter Cell might be Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Stick of Truth might be SouthPark: Stick of Truth. You can delete and scrub your captures from within this app as well.
