Can'f find my Live account

I had an Xbox One - I bought a Live Gold Account activation card from the store. I redeemed the card via my xbox, got signed in and all was fine. My Xbox got fried from a power surge. I just got a new Xbox One S - but when I signed in with my email address
- It gave me a new gamer tag, and didn't recognize that I have an active membership. How do I get my gamer tag and gold membership back on my new machine?

Hey everyone, looking for some info regarding xbox live accounts.. seeing as I couldn't find anything helpful on the xbox support page, i thought I'd try here.
My situation:
I am currently living away from home (out of the country actually) and will be for the foreseeable future. Im thinking of purchasing a new X1 since i left mine at home with my bro.
My question is, would I be able to play with or at the same time as my brother using a single Live account? I know if one of us tries to sign into the same GT the other is logged in as, it will ask us if we want to sign out (only 1 GT at a time).
However, since a gold account is shared on the home xbox. What if my brother signs in with a different GT and I sign in with the original GT( through which Live was bought)?

Second question:
Can I download and sign into by Xbox Live GT if i'm in a different country?

Can't find original receipt, but I do have the serial number registered to my name and Xbox Live account. The guy on the phone from MS said it's only eligible for the first 30 days after purchase... :/

 

You will need to use the correct Email and Password that you used on that Account. It sounds as if you are using two different Emails. What is the Profile of the GamerTag you are trying to Sign-in with?

 

The gamer tag is OXL0RD - the 4th character is a zero. I tried every email address I could think of... I guess I don't remember how I signed up.

 

If this is the Profile
https://account.xbox.com/en-US/Profile?gamerTag=OXL0RD you will need to know the correct Email/ Password. From that point simply Download the Profile on the new Device (Xbox One).

 

I clearly don't remember the email I used... or something has changed - b/c I only use 2 accounts, neither of which seem to work.

Is there any other way for me to recover my account? Is it possible to see that the OXL0RD account was always accessed by the same Xbox - which is a registered device under this account? Or, something of that nature?

 

Contact support. As long as you can verify you are the owner of the account they can get you the email you used and you can reset the password. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
