Cancelling subscription for the xbox live and get refund

Hello everyone,

Today i saw that the xbox live took 20€ for the subscription of the xbox live gold. And the problem is i'm not using the xbox lve anymore and i would like to completly cancel this payement and i would like to get refund. How can i do that ? all i can do
until now its stopping the automatically paiement but i can't cancel the last paiement . I would just like to cancel it , getting refund.

Hi there,

have you tried to see if you are able to get a refund when you are cancelling the xbox live gold subscription on the 'incorrect' account, so you are able to buy a new subscription for the 'correct' account?

DOUBLE BILLED FOR XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT

I originally had a 1 month XBOX live subscription but I then signed up for the yearly subscription and this month still got charged for the 1 month. How can I cancel just the 1 month now without cancelling my yearly subscription?
Also is there any way to get a refund for the month I was double billed?

Then check if Game Pass is not cancelled, if it is not, proceed to cancel it there. If you cancel iwithin 30 days from purchase or charge you will get a refund.

MS Help:

"To get a refund for a subscription, such as an Xbox Live Gold subscription, EA Access, Office 365, OneDrive, or The Elder Scrolls Online, you must cancel your subscription within 30 days of purchase."

Subscription Management page to cancel any current memberships including Xbox Live Gold. You should get an automatic refund for it, but if this isn't the case, try our

You can cancel your subscription online from account.microsoft.com. Simply sign in to the account that was charged and then go to Subscriptions and Services and you can cancel the Xbox Live Gold subscription from there. You may be eligible for a refund and
it will let you know when you cancel the subscription.

As for cancelling Xbox Live, you can do that by signing into payment and billing on Xbox.com or you can cancel it in the "manage subscriptions" under account in settings.
