Cancelling Old Xbox Live Account Under Same Email

Hey everyone, quick question here.

So I bought a new xbox and opened a new xbox live account with the same email under which I previously had another xbox live account that I used on my xbox 360. I now want to cancel my old xbox live account and cannot find a way to access it online since
I can only access the new account that's linked to that email.

I have tried logging into my xbox 360 with my old account and "managing the payment options" without success. The "manage membership" option won't even open the website... does anyone know how I could go about doing this?

Hi, so im in need of help.

I have an old Xbox live aacount under my dad's Microsoft account(email) and a new Xbox live account under my Microsoft a account(email). Is it possible to get my old Xbox live account under my new email?

I am sure whatever they give will be linked to the Xbox account message system.

I had that problem with using an old email. I switched the email through windows live. It took like 30 days to do that though. At least I get the emails now.

First of all you can not have 2 different accounts/profiles under the same email address.

So that means the email that would be associated with your xbox 360 account will either be different or you have an offline account.

you can see what email is associated with your 360 you can sign into your 360 account on your console and go to settings and profile and go to billing information and it will show you the email address associated with the account.

if you can not do that you can get ahold of xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and they can look up your account with the gamertag and if they can verify the ownership of the account can tell you your email that's associated with your account.

It's a little more complicated than that. He made a new gamertag but with the same email account, and somehow the Live subscription was attached to the old gamertag but was not appearing under his account. I found a place on the support site to enter my
phone number for a call back and the support agent was able to help. He found the Live subscription under the old gamertag and was able to verify it belonged to us. So he cancelled that subscription and gave us a new code to enter for the new gamertag. We
also got the Home console thing set up. Kids are happy now!

To use your old email address you would need to change your previous account with another email, and then once that has been changed create a new profile and then use your old email address with your new profile.

I'm not sure if you can actually delete an Xbox Live account I think you can only cancel the subscription. Here is a page to help you out.

Yeah I see both orders under the same account. The original purchase of Xbox live gold which shows cancelled, and the ultimate that shows active.

I have a xbox ultimate account with BT, and it is registered against gamertag G*****, bt I have a second gamertag e**** . Both have the same email address But I cannot change from e***** to g******* to access my pass. It only logs me into e****. Can you help?

It is not possible to have two xbox live accounts (gamertags) under the same email address.

Your emails might be VERY similar but they can't be exactly the same.

If i were to try and create another xbox live account (gamertag) under my existing email itll tell me i cant because an account already exists under that email.
